The BAMS full form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences. According to Ayurveda.com, “There are only three kinds of dysfunctions or disorders in the human body Kapha, Pitta and Vata. These dysfunctions are commonly called the Dosha in Ayurvedic terminology. Kapha means Phlegm (water and earth), Pitta means Bile (fire & water) and Vata means Wind (air and space)."
